There will be a huge fairground running at The Trafford Centre this weekend, which will be a great family day out. The fairground is called Spring Escape and it has a number of activities and rides including the funhouse, swings, river log flume, and more. The fairground will be suitable for people of all ages. The fair will be here until the 5th of June, and it will be open from Friday to Monday for the bank holiday weekend. There will also be character meet and greets taking place at the fair, with guest appearances from Rapunzel and Spider-Man between 1 pm and 3 pm this Saturday, and Isabela and Captain America between 2-45pm and 4.45 pm on the Sunday. Bury Pride
Bury will be holding their annual pride celebration this bank holiday weekend and everyone is invited to celebrate. This year’s pride parade will be taking place at Castle Armoury Drill Hall and there have been promises that this year will be bigger and better than ever. There will be various entertainment from 10 am with tributes to Beyoncé, Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift and more. The parade will set off at 1 pm. This is a fantastic celebration to enjoy with family and friends.
Free Musical Festival at Oast House
The Oast House which is a bar based in Spinningfields they are hosting a free music festival for the bank holiday weekend with a packed line-up. Bands, solo artists, and music duos will be performing on the stage that will be located on Oast’s outdoor terrace throughout the day, which will also include sets from resident DJs. The festival will take place on a first-come-first-served basis. The event will take place on Sunday the first of May from 1 pm-10 pm.
Pooch Party- Moxy Bar
The Moxy Bar based in Spinningfields is throwing a party for the dogs of Manchester this Sunday the 1st of May. The party will feature bottomless treats, a DJ, games for the dogs, a photo booth, doggie ice cream, glasses of pawsecco and so much more. An enjoyable day for you and your pups.
